I want to make a difference in this world. I want to make someone’s day at least once a day, at the very least. But even bigger than that, I’m going to the Philippines by the end of this year to fight the poverty and hunger. I’ve been to the Philippines about 4 times in my life. I’ve seen the malnourished children running half naked in the city streets begging for money and selling food for less than what they deserve. I felt the frustration and sadness for these people, but I never thought of taking action. I thought I wasn’t capable or experienced enough to make a difference. But for once in my life I know that I’m enough and I do matter.
